Impact Tuesdays | Impact Venture Capital with Nicholas Ooi
In the first of our Impact Tuesdays series of talks we are very excited to welcome Enactus Alumni Nicholas Ooi. Nicholas will be talking to two topics
- VC (Venture Capital) How it works and what it is like working as a VC.
- How he has used his Enactus hones skills to carve his career path.
Nick is currently part of the investment team at Investible, an early-stage venture capital fund with offices in Sydney and Singapore. He supports Investible’s early-stage funds, including sourcing early-stage startups, performing due diligence, helping close investment opportunities and supporting portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Investible, he worked at Superseed Ventures, Reece Group’s corporate venture capital fund, investing in Seed to Series B tech startups across ANZ and North America, with a focus on construction tech, proptech and supply chain tech. He also spent ~4 years as a management consultant at Strategy& and Accenture, focusing on corporate strategy for ASX100 companies across numerous industries and commercial due diligence on growth-stage businesses for global private equity funds.
He graduated from UNSW in 2017 and studied a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) / Laws degree. Nick was also the ex-President of Enactus UNSW in 2016 and is now actively involved as a Business Advisory Board member.
